the sound of a question

Sacred sounds and seed syllables have been part of my understanding of spiritual practice for as long as I remember. Magic spells and incantations. The sounds of chakras, and the Sofeggio frequencies. Today I read this article about the Sanskrit sound ‘ka.’ It added another level to my understanding, about how the physiology of human speech is connected to the energetic process. Fascinating!

Sometimes we do not stop the flow of our thoughts long enough to allow the questions to float to the surface. In this article, the writer explores the origins of the sounds we make as humans when we interrupt this flow - to go a different way, to rethink something, or to reflect. I really enjoyed it, and wanted to share it with you. I might start saying ‘KA!’ a bit more now.
